The University of Western Australia Guild offers interest-free loans, grants, advocacy, financial counseling, budgeting assistance, and a whole lot more.

Established as an independent organization with official control to handle relations between the University and its student body, free from University influence. The Guild maintains independence but sees itself as a partner in the success of the University.

With a wide range of opportunities to get involved with things such as Micro-volunteering on a wide range of different projects every week, or volunteering in the digital market with local non-profit organizations. For the students with interests in nature, there are various environmental causes to join and even animal charities.

By getting involved in as many of the activities as you like, you not only gain knowledge on various causes and operations but you also become well integrated into the University family and the community. And lending a helping hand always feels good!

With 2 types of student loans on offer at the University of Western Australia, every student can get the finances needed to further their education.

If you can show that you can pay your loan back in the given time, you can apply for a loan online for any one of these loans that are interest-free, payable over a 12 month period with amounts up to $1000.

The first loan option is an ordinary loan

• Must be related directly or indirectly to your studies.
• Up to 2 loans per student per year.

The second loan option 

• The application process is quick and easy.
• Up to six emergency loans per year.

Payment of the Ordinary Loan will be made by bank deposit to the student. No cash is given unless there are exceptional circumstances or prior arrangements were made.

With their team of Psychologists available to provide free, professional, and confidential service to students, there is help for every student.
